“The Covid-19 is teaching mankind that, surprise, we don’t have control, even though that is a very uncomfortable feeling for most people. Once that idea sinks in, then people recalibrate, and work within this new paradigm. And surprise, most people discover that control is a burden. So on a good day, Covid-19 is freeing us to face mortality, love each other more deeply, work for the greater good, be braver, and eat more of the canned food in our cupboards. On a bad day, it’s teaching us to watch out for ourselves, be afraid, be very afraid, hoard toilet paper, shutdown, and watch too much contradictory and polarizing news.
Undeniably, Covid -19 has made earthlings slow down, and that is a good thing. And personally, it has made me more sensitive to the needs of people who feel alone. To connect me to the universal feelings of grief and fear, but also triumph and hope.”
